Role Description The Project Manager/Rebar Detailer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vaughan, ON. This position manages rebar projects from detailing through fabrication, logistics, and delivery, ensuring schedules, specifications, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing structural drawings, preparing accurate rebar shop drawings and bar lists, coordinating with customers, engineers, and internal teams, and tracking project progress.

The role involves monitoring material requirements, collaborating with production and logistics to meet timelines, addressing field changes or RFIs,



and maintaining clear documentation.

The Project

Manager/Rebar Detailer also supports inspection and quality control processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Expediting and Expeditor functions to ensure timely coordination of materials, documentation, and project milestones.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to oversee project scope, schedule, resources, and stakeholder communication from start to finish. PMP preferred.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to review drawings, shop details, and fabricated products for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to plan deliveries, coordinate just-in-time shipments, and support efficient jobsite operations.
- Experience with rebar detailing, structural drawings, and bar list preparation using relevant CAD or detailing software.
- Robust attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret engineering and construction documents.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with customers, engineers, production, and field teams.
- Prior experience in construction, steel fabrication, or related industries; familiarity with Ontario and MTO standards is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
