We are a small ISO-registered medical device manufacturer located in east Toronto. We are experiencing multiple years of double-digit sales growth and are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team who can join quality team and help maintain our compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 Standards and internal requirements.

Position: Quality Inspector

Employment Type: Contract Position (8 Months with the potential to extend or become a full-time role)

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22:00 per hour (paid bi-weekly)

Work Week: Nominally 40 hours Monday – Friday (with some overtime during the weekdays and weekends)

Working hours: Day Shift

Job Duties:

- Perform inbound inspection of mechanical parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
- Read, interpret, and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
- Perform functional and fit checks on components.
- Inspect parts based on AQL tables and generate required reports.
- Sort parts based on visual inspection and functionality checks.
- Generate non-conformance reports for defective parts and segregate them in the disposition area.
- Check Returned Authorization (RA)



parts or products and collaborate with customer service regarding them.
- Interpret and analyze statistical data to identify quality trends.
- Read and follow work instructions, work rules, and directions.
- Comply with all employee policies, QMS procedures, and company processes.
- Seek direction from the QC Coordinator or QRA Manager if assistance is needed with a task.

Qualifications and Competencies:

- 1–2 years of experience in the Quality field.
- Mechanical background required; a Quality diploma is an asset.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and documents.
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Sharp / Keen Eye for Detail.
- Able to perform tasks diligently, with a sense of urgency, and thrive in a quick-paced environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, with strong manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, carrying, pushing).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
