Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE Toddler Classroom Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote early childhood learning and development for toddlers
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, tailoring activities to meet individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and developmental observations
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure classroom organization, cleanliness, and adherence to licensing standards
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication with families and team members

Skills





- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus for bilingual communication
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices for toddler development
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs in childcare or educational settings
- Excellent communication skills to engage children effectively and collaborate with families and team members
- Demonstrated classroom experience with strong organizational skills and time management abilities
- Leadership qualities to guide young learners confidently while fostering independence
- Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, planning, and communication purposes
- Writing skills for maintaining detailed records and reports

Pay: $25.86-$27.00 per hour
