Lakeview Dental is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are seeking a friendly, creative and dependable Hygienist who is passionate about providing dental care to our clients and is willing to help educate them on the importance of taking care of their teeth. The ideal candidate for this position must hold a dental hygienist license and have solid interpersonal skills, an understanding of all the latest trends in dentistry and a desire to help make our clients' dental experience as positive as possible.
Responsibilities
- Patient screening procedures, such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening
- Taking necessary dental radiographs and Intraoral photos.
- Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth.
- Collaborating with the doctor to determine appropriate and individualized treatment for patients.
- Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).
- Valid Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree – new grads are welcome!
- CPR Certification
At Lakeview Dental, we believe a balanced work and family schedule is very important. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) to keep the evenings and weekends open for staff to enjoy life! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
