Responsibilities
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting projects.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces, ensuring seamless blending with existing finishes.
- When working at heights or on scaffolding to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Manage time efficiently to complete projects within scheduled timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential painting or related fields such as carpentry or commercial painting.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other painting equipment.
- Experience with restoration projects and industrial or commercial painting is a plus.
- Solid communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of safety protocols when working at heights or with scaffolding.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
