Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and prepare Tacos, burritos, bowls, and other menu items with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process customer orders quickly and accurately
- Handle cash transactions with confidence, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards to ensure a safe dining environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining high energy levels and motivation for each shift
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
