Description The Retail Brand Advocate is responsible for executing in-store merchandising strategies, maintaining product displays, and building strong relationships with store personnel to drive brand awareness and sales performance. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who can independently manage a territory and deliver consistent, high-quality execution.
Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain merchandising standards, including planograms, product placement, pricing, and display compliance.
- Install, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot fixtures, demo devices, and signage.
- Identify and resolve in-store merchandising, display, or fixture issues.
- Plan and manage territory routes efficiently; ensure all scheduled store visits are completed on time and to standard.
- Travel as needed, including occasional overnight or air travel (expenses reimbursed).
- Accurately complete store visit reports, documentation, and required training within established deadlines.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with management; report issues, updates, and needs within 24 hours.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and associates to support client goals.
- Partner with store teams to drive brand engagement by:
- Influencing sales through effective product positioning and communication
- Training staff on product features and benefits
- Maintain robust knowledge of consumer electronics products and customer needs; serve as a subject matter expert.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive measurable results and improve store performance.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, urgency, and accountability.
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced retail environment; contribute ideas and solutions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of retail merchandising experience required; sales, relationship building, or negotiation experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Must reside within the assigned territory in a central location.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and current automobile insurance (must be maintained throughout employment).
- Reliable personal vehicle required; eligible for mileage reimbursement and travel time.
- Ability to travel as needed, including overnight travel; personal credit card required for reimbursable travel expenses.
- Ability to transport, store, and manage supplies and point-of-purchase materials.
- Basic computer access and proficiency preferred.
