Store Hours: Monday-Friday: 10 AM - 7 PM

Saturday: 10 AM - 6 PM

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Promote and support our high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling, building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is achieved by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling our premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Promote and support the high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional face-to-face selling. Providing each and every customer the Red Wing Ultimate Fit Experience.
- Provide appropriate accessory recommendations,



educate customers on the benefits of adding necessary accessories.
- Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
- Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain proficiency with product knowledge, technical, and operating standards through continuous learning.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.
- Provide direct support in the daily operations of the retail store. Including, but not limited to entering customer information & sales into POS system, process payments, balance cash drawer & daily reporting.
- Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as required.
- Conduct self-accordance to RWSC policies.
- Build collaborative relationships between you and key people with whom you’ll work or interact with. We are a small team, and every member is significant to the success of the store.
- Cleaning, conditioning and minor repairs of worn boots.

Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

- MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY TO WORK EVENINGS & WEEKENDS.
- Ability to be a team player - learning from and encouraging other's.
- Ability to receive and understand coaching - must be willing to receive constructive feedback, and show improvement and growth.
- Results oriented - meet/exceed sales metrics both personally and as a team on a consistent basis.




- Time management skills - approach daily tasks and projects with energy and a sense of urgency.
- Flexible, Patient, Punctual, Dependable, Dedicated.
- Effective Written/Verbal Communication skills - professionally interact with customers and co-workers in a high-end retail environment.
- Computer Utilization - ability to use computers and various software.
- Face-to-face sales experience is helpful - this is NOT a cashier job, you will be talking and interacting with customers.
- Demonstrate a passion for our Brand - have energy, excitement and take pride in working with the Red Wing Brand and our customer base.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES:

- Thorough knowledge of Red Wing Shoe Company’s mission, values, and organization structure.
- Ability to work independently where needed.
- Problem solving and quick thinking.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Lifting 50 pounds, bending/squatting to lace shoes, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing a ladder, standing for long periods of time.
- Housekeeping duties including but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping & waxing floors, washing windows, use of disinfectant chemicals, discarding of all trash, maintaining recycling, installing, and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.
- Standing and moving for full shift, depending on the daily traffic.

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
