JOB PURPOSE The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for supervising the provision of clinical social work services.

QUALIFICATIONS

- University degree in Social Work. Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Must have progressive related work experience (1 year) in which leadership ability and competency as a Social Worker have been demonstrated.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for:

- Assigning, overseeing, reviewing and evaluating service delivery
- Planning, directing and evaluating therapy programs and services
- Providing staff orientation and coordinating staff development programs
- Serving as a clinical practice leader
- Developing and/or ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures
- Coordinating or participating in student placements




- Performing the work of a social worker
