Full-time, Permanent | $65,000–$75,000 per year

Primarily in-person | Approx. 80% office / 20% field & travel

About the Role

Tree Island Yogurt is a Canadian dairy company producing and distributing cultured dairy products to major grocery, natural-food and specialty retailers across Canada.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage our day-to-day sales function, with a focus on key account management, sales forecasting, promotional planning and sales execution.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong customer relationship skills with an analytical mindset and is comfortable working with sales data, spreadsheets and detailed account information. Sales forecasting and data analysis are a critical component of the the work.

The majority of the role is focused on managing and growing existing grocery accounts with a few new key accounts to coordinate and implement going forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of grocery and food-service accounts.
- Build productive relationships with grocery buyers and customer contacts.
- Maintain sales forecasts by customer and product.
- Review sales performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Develop and coordinate annual customer promotional plans.
- Manage new listings, pricing, promotions and customer requirements.
- Maintain retailer portals, new-item submissions and account administration.
- Execute sales plan in coordination with plant operations and distribution.
- Work with Sales Admin Coordinator and Field Merchandisers.
- Conduct targeted store visits to assess merchandising and promotional execution.




- Identify opportunities for expanded distribution and new business.
- Participate in customer meetings, trade shows and industry events as required.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of grocery, CPG, food or related sales/account-management experience.
- Experience working with grocery retailers, buyers or distributors.
- Strong account-management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong spreadsheet, analytical and sales-forecasting skills.
- Excellent organization and follow-through.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple customers, deadlines and priorities.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across Sales, Marketing and Operations.
- Willing and able to travel as required.

Experience with key grocery accounts, Canadian grocery distribution, refrigerated/dairy products, retailer portals or promotional planning is an asset. Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year, based on experience.
