THE OPPORTUNITY The Sales Manager role strengthens TPC's sales performance in the Ontario market by building disciplined sales processes, coaching the local sales team, improving CRM adoption, and partnering across departments to support profitable growth and a consistent customer experience.
The Sales Manager will lead day-to-day sales team execution, improve CRM discipline, track leads and pipeline activity, and support revenue growth through structured sales campaigns, training, and customer rollout planning. This role will lead weekly sales meetings, monitor key sales performance indicators, coordinate with procurement and marketing, and use Excel-based reporting to analyze sales activity, customer performance, and campaign results.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee CRM system use and data quality, including reviewing inactive leads, reassigning ownership where needed, monitoring follow-up activity, and supporting a healthy sales pipeline.
- Lead sales team activities directly, including setting expectations, reinforcing accountability, supporting performance conversations, and ensuring the team is aligned on revenue growth, customer retention, and service standards.
- Partner with the Vice President, Sales to establish, track, and report on key performance indicators, including:
1. New Business Added Weekly
2. Lost Accounts Weekly
3. Weekly Credits/Hot Accounts
4. Weekly Cold Call/Email Quotas

Annual and Quarterly New Business Revenue Goals
- Lead weekly sales meetings, including reviewing pipeline activity, discussing customer opportunities and risks, following up on action items, and reinforcing sales priorities.
- Develop sales training materials.
- Act as a lead on new product launch campaigns.
- Work with procurement and marketing on monthly featured products.
- Execute cold calling and email outreach campaigns to support new business development and pipeline growth.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Support Customer Account Managers with sales meetings, customer presentations, and follow-up planning when needed.
- Communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment and act as a liaison between sales, procurement, customer service, marketing, and operations.
- Advanced Excel user with the ability to analyze sales data and create customized velocity reports, order guides, and pricing proposals.
- Project manage new customer roll-out campaigns to ensure all campaign requirements are met; measure campaign progress and communicate effectively both internally and externally.
- Provide training, guidance, and oversight to ensure campaign tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Work with the Procurement team to coordinate any specialty product orders outside of Bondi's usual assortment of goods.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience leading sales teams, managing sales performance,
or supervising customer-facing employees.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, custom reports, and sales data analysis.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Experience with sales training and team development.
- Ability to lead cold calling/email campaigns effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work across departments.
- Self-starter with high ownership mentality — you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Valid G driver’s license and access to a vehicle (client visits required)
- Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Experience in foodservice, produce, specialty foods, distribution, hospitality, or a related B2B sales environment is considered a strong asset.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where initiative is rewarded and no two days look the same.

- Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
