Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Sales Representative and Front Desk Associate to join our vibrant team, willing to work on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. This paid position offers an exciting chance to engage with members and visitors, promote our services, and drive business growth through proactive sales efforts. The role combines front desk responsibilities with outside sales activities, requiring a dynamic individual who thrives in a lively environment and is passionate about health and wellness.

The successful applicant will have bonuses and commission on top of their regular salary.

Duties

- Greet members and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service at the front desk
- Manage membership inquiries, sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations efficiently
- Promote our fitness programs, classes, and membership packages to prospective clients




- Negotiate membership terms and business deals to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
- Develop relationships with local businesses for corporate wellness partnerships (business development)
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities
- Assist with marketing initiatives by distributing promotional materials and informing members about upcoming events

Skills
- Proven experience in sales, or business development within health or fitness sectors
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to sale effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Knowledge in computer
- Technical sales experience is a plus, especially related to fitness or wellness technology products
- Fluency and strong communication skills in English is preferred to serve diverse community members effectively
- Must be a resident of Vancouver, preferable Kitsilano area
