We are looking for a Salesforce Functional Designer/ Business Systems Analyst for a 6 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid with 4 days a week on site in Downtown Montreal.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with Product Owners and Functional Leads to refine and prioritize the Salesforce backlog.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate requirements discussions with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring functional, non-functional, security, compliance, usability, and performance requirements are understood.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and facilitate backlog refinement sessions.
- Conduct impact assessments and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate changes to Salesforce processes, configurations, and data.
- Support QA teams by defining functional scenarios, clarifying requirements, and reviewing test cases.
- Participate in defect triage and work with technical teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Configure Salesforce declarative functionality, including Flows, Validation Rules, Page Layouts, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Permission Set Groups.
- Ensure solutions follow Salesforce platform best practices, security standards, and enterprise policies.
- Collaborate across business and technology teams to support successful end-to-end delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent education in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.




- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Business Analysis, Functional Design, or a similar role.
- 3+ years of experience within the financial services/banking industry.
- Robust Salesforce Administrator experience with a solid understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Demonstrated experience working as a Salesforce BSA / Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria, requirements management, and backlog refinement.
- Working knowledge of banking processes, customer journeys, and product lifecycles.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with enterprise DevOps practices and delivery pipelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
