Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer interaction, and restaurant operations.

Duties

- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet safety regulations
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service




- Restock supplies as needed and assist with general kitchen duties to ensure smooth operation

Experience

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part time Pay: From $15.00 per hour
