Job Title: SAP BTP Integration Suite Developer

Location: Canada - Remote

We are looking for a strong hands-on SAP BTP Integration Suite Developer with deep expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and SAP API Management to design, develop, and support enterprise integrations.

This is a development-heavy role requiring someone who can independently take integrations from technical design through production deployment and support.

Must-Have Skills:

Solid hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).

Strong hands-on experience with SAP API Management — mandatory.

Proven ability to design and develop complex iFlows independently.

Strong Groovy scripting skills for transformations, validations, custom logic, and exception handling.

Strong experience with REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, HTTP, JSON, and XML.

Experience designing and configuring API proxies, policies, security, authentication, throttling, rate limiting, and API products in SAP API Management.

Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, certificates, credentials, and secure connectivity.

Strong knowledge of integration patterns including routing, splitting, aggregation, retries, idempotency, asynchronous processing, and exception handling.

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across SAP and non-SAP integrations.

Experience with enterprise-scale integration development and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop complex SAP BTP-IS / CPI iFlows.

Design, expose, secure, and manage APIs using SAP API Management.





Develop complex transformations using Groovy, XSLT, and Message Mapping.

Implement robust validation, error handling, retry, reprocessing, logging, and monitoring.

Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using appropriate enterprise integration patterns.

Troubleshoot integration and API issues independently.

Perform unit testing, SIT/UAT support, defect resolution, deployment, and production support.

Work with Solution Architects to translate business and technical requirements into production-ready integrations.

Create technical specifications, mappings, API documentation, and support documentation.

Good to Have:

SAP Event Mesh / event-driven architecture

SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors integrations

IDoc and OData

SAP PI/PO migration to BTP Integration Suite

Cloud ALM / integration monitoring

CI/CD and transport management

Enterprise API governance and lifecycle management

Candidate Profile:
