Role Description This full-time on-site role based in Montreal, QC is for a SAP FICO Architect. The SAP FICO Architect will design, configure, and optimize SAP FICO solutions aligned with business processes and financial requirements.

Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business needs, creating solution architectures, and overseeing integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP or non-SAP systems. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and consulting teams, providing expert guidance on best practices, supporting implementation and upgrades, and ensuring system stability and performance. The SAP FICO Architect will also document functional and technical designs, support testing activities, and provide ongoing user support and training.

Qualifications





- Strong understanding of business processes in finance and controlling, with the ability to translate requirements into SAP FICO solutions.
- Experience with SAP Basis concepts related to system performance, transports, and setting management supporting SAP FICO landscapes.
- Proven consulting skills, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and delivering clear recommendations and solutions.
- Expertise in solution architecture, including designing end-to-end SAP FICO architectures and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Hands-on experience with integration, such as connecting SAP FICO with other SAP modules, CRM, ERP, and third-party systems.
- Solid knowledge of SAP FICO configuration (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO), and familiarity with best practices in financial and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and clear documentation skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Professional certifications in SAP (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP Financials) are an asset; experience in consulting or technology service firms is beneficial.
