Screen Print & General Shop Helper

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Screen Print & General Shop Helper.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and working in a rapid-paced shop environment. The successful candidate will assist with screen printing and a variety of general shop duties. Screen printing experience is an asset, but is not required. Training will be provided.

The right person will be comfortable staying busy, following instructions and work orders, paying attention to detail, and helping wherever needed to keep production running smoothly.

We are located 10 minutes south of Winnipeg in Île-des-Chênes, so the successful candidate must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

- Assist with screen printing and press setup
- Prepare materials and products for printing
- Load and unload garments and other materials
- Assist with mixing and preparing inks
- Help with cleaning screens, equipment, and work areas
- Inspect finished products for quality
- Count and organize materials and finished products
- Follow work orders, checklists, and production instructions
- Perform general shop duties as required
- Help with packing, shipping, and receiving when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Report damaged or defective materials to management
- Report inventory shortages or discrepancies
- Use our computer/workflow system to complete basic production tasks
- Follow all company safety procedures

Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. The successful candidate will regularly be required to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, reach, and lift throughout the day
- Lift and move materials weighing 30+ pounds
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Work around printing equipment and shop machinery
- Maintain attention to detail while working at a steady production pace

No previous screen printing experience is required. We will provide training to the right candidate.
