Emcon Services Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator for the Kenora division in Ear Falls. Bring your experience and safety mindset to this full-time seasonal role. As a Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator, you will report to the Road Superintendent and perform critical highway maintenance and emergency tasks.
Essential duties include plowing, sanding, and conducting surface maintenance. To succeed, a DZ or AZ driver’s license and a focus on punctuality and teamwork are essential.
Your role will help maintain safe highways across Ontario. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct summer and winter highway maintenance operations
- Execute emergency response tasks, including traffic control
- Maintain and repair right-of-ways and drainage systems
- Perform minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and perform duties as assigned Requirements:
- DZ license required; AZ preferred with experience
- Background in highway maintenance field is advantageous
- Friendly and skilled in public interactions
- Reliable and punctual; willing to work shifts
