We are seeking a dedicated Second Cook to join our kitchen team! In this role, you will assist the Kitchen Manager in preparing and cooking high-quality meals that keep guests coming back. Duties

- Assist the BOH team in preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support food presentation by ensuring dishes are plated attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients
- Contribute to meal preparation during busy service times to meet customer demand efficiently




- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences for guests

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in a kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to assist with cooking, food preparation, and meal assembly efficiently
- Strong understanding of serving techniques and customer service principles
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude under pressure
- Basic culinary skills with a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred
