We are currently seeking a Senior Applications Architect for a 12-month contract supporting a large public-sector organization in Toronto.

? Contract: October 5, 2026 – October 4, 2027

? Key Requirements

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related IT role, including leadership experience in complex environments.
- Robust experience in application architecture, systems analysis, design, and enterprise application development .
- Experience in a technical advisory/consulting role , ideally within the utility industry , supporting work order lifecycle processes.
- Extensive experience with IBM Maximo , including application configuration, development, integration, performance, security, and database-related activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6 / 7.6.1.2 and working knowledge of Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.1 .
- Experience across Maximo modules including Work Order Management, Asset Management, Preventive/Corrective Maintenance, Configuration, Scripting, Reporting, and system integrations .




- Experience with enterprise-wide Cloud transformation , Cloud adoption, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , and public/private Cloud environments.
- Experience integrating asset management applications with ERP systems .
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, application integration, middleware, databases, APIs, and distributed environments.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills .
- Public-sector experience is required.
