The Role
Wood is currently recruiting a Senior Piping Designer to work on large scale brownfield offshore oil and gas projects in our St. John’s Newfoundland office.

Responsibilities
- Pipe design checking of 3D models, drawings and design of piping systems and equipment
- Operate in a multidiscipline workplace to complete large scale projects for our clients
- Ensuring project schedules and client approved budgets are managed and met
- Adhering to all HSSES requirements within the Piping department in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems
- Ensure designs are in accordance with applicable codes, governing statutory regulations, Wood procedures, offshore installation specific design philosophies and meet project objectives and industry best practice

Expected:
- Currently authorized to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Technical diploma from a post-secondary institution
- Relevant work experience
- 15+ years of experience in oil and gas industry
