St Onge Recreation, located at 65 Hart Drive in BARRIE, ON, is a premier retailer of New and Pre-owned Recreational Products. We are looking to fill a Full-time position of Senior Powersports Mechanic in our Service Department.
As a Mechanic you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining customer's units. Jobs may involve tune ups, oil changes up to engine rebuilds on units including BRP, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Passionate for Powersports
· Good diagnostic abilities with both carbureted and fuel injected vehicles
· Ability to multi task in a fast paced workplace
· Ability to work on snowmobiles, ATVs, SxS , PWCs, Jet Boats, Outboards and Motorcycles or recreational vehicles.
· 310G motorcycle mechanic would be an asset but not mandatory
· Communicate effectively with parts team and service writers to ensure repairs are carried out in accordance to customer wishes and department policies
· Document inspections, test results and work performed or to be performed as well as hours worked on customer work orders
· Ability to work on snowmobile, ATV, motorcycles, SxS and other recreational vehicles would be an asset
· Maintain an efficient and tidy work area
