Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Technical Writer to work on a contract basis. The role involves creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for technical products and services. Responsibilities include writing API documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for software products.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical details and ensure documentation aligns with product updates.
- Create and update API documentation, including endpoints, parameters, and examples.
- Maintain version control for documentation to reflect software changes and releases.
- Conduct reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in technical writing for software or technology products.
- Proficiency in documenting APIs, SDKs, or developer tools.
- Strong command of grammar, syntax, and technical writing standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, or MadCap Flare.
