Barbecues Galore is looking for a hands-on, organized Service Manager to lead our Calgary service operations, including our Delivery “Butlers,” Assembly Technicians and Fireplace Installation team.

We’re looking to fill this position ASAP. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the current Service Manager for hands-on training and knowledge transfer before they leave the role.

With eight retail locations across Alberta and Ontario, Barbecues Galore is known for great products, exceptional customer service and, of course, a serious passion for BBQ.

This Is a Busy, Hands-On Role

This is a fast-paced and demanding management position with a lot of moving parts. You’ll need to be comfortable multitasking, making decisions, solving problems and managing competing priorities while keeping your teams and customers on track.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, schedule and manage our Delivery, Assembly and Fireplace Installation teams
- Hire, train and support employees, including performance evaluations
- Coordinate fireplace service calls, installations and daily schedules
- Manage service orders, invoicing, billing and municipal gas permits
- Communicate directly with customers and resolve service issues
- Monitor fireplace, venting and related inventory
- Track delivery, assembly and installation issues and improve processes




- Work closely with sales and store teams to keep customer orders moving
- Prepare customer quotes and maintain information using CRM software

What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience supervising and scheduling a team
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a quick-paced, demanding environment
- Strong leadership, organization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer-service skills
- Comfortable making decisions and solving problems when things get busy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with CRM, scheduling and inventory systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Reliable, accountable and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driver’s abstract
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Employer sponsorship is not available for this position.

Fireplace, gas fitting or barbecue product knowledge is an asset, but product training will be provided. Compensation & Benefits
- Starting at $48,000+ annually, depending on experience
