Job Summary:

Our client, Allstyle Cabinet Doors is seeking a dynamic and proactive Shift Supervisor to oversee their production team and ensure operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role where the Shift Supervisor performs general labourer tasks alongside the production team to lead by example. You will be responsible for managing production flow, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and fostering a safe, high-performance environment.

You will lead, train, and coach employees to ensure custom cabinet doors are manufactured efficiently and accurately. Your focus will be on team oversight, process improvement, and meeting production goals through effective people and resource management.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading the Team & Training

● Teach new and current employees how to do their jobs, safely use equipment, and follow all company rules.

● Give out daily work assignments and manage the schedule to make sure we hit our production goals on time.

● Coach employees to help them improve their skills and performance, and generally support their success.

● Lead by example by performing general labourer tasks alongside the team to support production goals and maintain efficient workflow.

● Remind the team of rules, like when to take their scheduled breaks and how to behave professionally.

2. Quality and Production Flow

● Check the quality of the work regularly to confirm that all custom products meet the exact specifications needed.

● Find and fix operational problems—like slowdowns, wasted time, or machine issues—as they happen.

● Work closely with management to develop and put in place solutions that improve how we operate.

3. Safety First





● Enforce all health and safety rules, including federal and company requirements, to keep the workplace safe.

● Show employees the right way to work safely and use equipment, setting a strong example for them to follow.

● Make sure everyone is using the required safety gear (PPE) and that the workspace is always clean and organized.

Qualifications & Skills:

● Proven experience managing or supervising a team (2-4 years) in a manufacturing or production environment, especially one that makes custom specialty wood products, such as furniture.

● Strong understanding of production methods, quality checks, and efficiency measures.

● A firm commitment to and knowledge of workplace safety laws.

● Great leadership and people skills—you must be able to train, coach, and communicate clearly with many different employees.

● The ability to solve problems quickly and figure out the root cause of issues.
