The Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage the flow of materials and finished products in and out of our facility. This hands-on role combines shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and outgoing quality inspection to ensure products leave our shop meeting our standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive incoming materials and components — verify quantities, inspect for damage or defects, and match against purchase orders and packing slips
- Perform final quality checks on finished glass walls, doors, and assemblies prior to shipment (visual, dimensional, hardware, and packaging readiness)
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments with proper protection for glass and finished products
- Generate shipping documents, coordinate with carriers, and load/unload trucks safely
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP system (Odoo)
- Keep the shipping/receiving and staging areas organized, clean, and efficient




- Report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues promptly
- Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely
- Support continuous improvement of shipping, receiving, and quality processes

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment (quality inspection experience is a strong asset)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to read packing lists, work orders, and basic drawings/specs
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting, standing, loading trucks) and operating a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our ERP system
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently while communicating clearly with the team
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
