Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist in all areas of our shop This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and stamina.

Responsibilities

- Cut wire rope and bend strands to meet specifications
- Operate Coiler to run reels /coils of wire rope
- Build & Inspect Chain sling assemblies
- Ensure a quality product is produced, as per the company quality standards
- Organize, clean, and ensure overall maintenance of the rigging workspace
- Maintain an efficient production speed with minimal quality issues
- Help out in the Rope Department when required
- Help out in the Testing Department when required
- Ensure inventory is stored in an appropriate manner

Qualifications:




- Previous experience or knowledge with wire rope and chain is considered an asset
- Able to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level
- Able to operate a Forklift in a protected manner
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Please note that this is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to perform manual labor.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
