Responsibilities
- Assist with the handling and movement of materials using forklifts and power tools to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support assembly operations by organizing parts, preparing components, and following detailed instructions.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform minor repairs, adjustments, or installations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, storage areas, and warehouse spaces to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Help with inventory management by receiving shipments, stocking supplies,
and documenting materials accurately.
- Follow all safety guidelines diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge or interest in understanding machinery and assembly processes.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools with proper safety precautions.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks reliably.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn current skills in a fast-paced environment.
