: This Social Work position will work with acute care patients/families, in the hospital or outpatient setting. This position works with an Interdisciplinary team of professionals to support patients and the families, as they navigate the healthcare system. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with medical social work experience
Education
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in the SHA, community resources and applicable programming
- Skilled in psycho-social assessment and the ability to work with individuals
- Ability to advocate on behalf of clients, caregivers /extended family members.
- Ability to work independently

- HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
