Centre is seeking a Clinical Social Worker for the Overlook Supportive Housing project. This position emphasizes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, actively promoting social inclusion and addressing systemic injustice. Your experience will enhance tenant well-being through comprehensive assessments and targeted interventions that address the unique challenges faced by marginalized populations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized care plans based on tenant assessments
- Collaborate with housing teams to provide holistic support services
- Offer educational resources and facilitate therapeutic groups
- Navigate crisis situations and provide immediate support
- Continuously assess effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university
- Active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
- 2+ years in clinical or community social work
- Experience in trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches
