Position Overview: IT Partners is seeking a Senior IT Technician to help our clients leverage technology to achieve their business goals. This role is ideal for a client-focused IT professional who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys solving challenging problems. You will be responsible for supporting and optimizing client infrastructure, troubleshooting advanced issues, and implementing technology solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, including servers, networks, Azure, Microsoft 365, storage systems, and end-user devices.

Success in this role requires a strong focus on service quality, responsiveness, and delivering an outstanding client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver and support technology solutions for small and mid-sized business clients, ensuring high-quality service and successful outcomes.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex infrastructure, cloud, and networking environments.
- Collaborate with clients, Account Managers, and Project teams to assess requirements, recommend solutions, and support project delivery.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, servers, networks, storage, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve escalated technical issues while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards,



and knowledge-sharing resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Ability to provide remote or on-site support.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in an IT consulting, managed services (MSP), or senior technical support role.
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant Microsoft, Azure, AWS or other industry-recognized technical certifications are considered assets.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and identity management.
- Advanced knowledge of networking, routing, switching, and troubleshooting technologies.
- Experience using AI-powered productivity and support tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT, is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, identity and access management, and multi-factor authentication, is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to assess client needs and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and leadership.




- Robust documentation and knowledge-sharing skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
- A combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience will be considered.
