We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer to support enterprise-scale Salesforce initiatives. This role focuses on advanced Apex development, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and contributing to complex technical solutions within a regulated, large-scale setting. This is a 6 month contract to start with strong possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components
- Build and optimize integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to junior developers
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices
- Support CI/CD workflows using Git-based pipelines or Copado
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous platform improvements
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards
Required Experience
- 6–10 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Deep proficiency in Apex, SOQL, LWC, and governor limit management
- Strong experience building integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, MuleSoft is an asset)
- Background working in enterprise or regulated environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with business stakeholders and technical leaders
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
- Exposure to Agile delivery frameworks
Location Toronto / GTA. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
Contract Type Full-time hours (37.5), consulting engagement.
