Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Stud Framer/drywall boarder join our construction team. This role involves the installation of steel framing components for commercial and residential buildings, requiring a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience with various tools and techniques, including blueprint reading and heavy equipment operation, to ensure precise and efficient framing work.

Duties

- Hanging drywall is a MUST taping and painting is a bonus
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately assemble steel framing structures.
- Measure, cut, and assemble steel studs using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Install framing components according to specifications, ensuring structural integrity and alignment.
- Assist with concrete forming and finishing as needed for building foundations and structural supports.
- Operate heavy equipment safely to transport materials around the job site.
- Perform tasks related to siding installation, woodworking, and restoration projects when required.




- Conduct quality checks throughout the framing process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and protected handling of tools and materials.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or framing with a focus on steel stud installation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid certifications or training in welding or heavy equipment operation are advantageous.
- Commitment to safety standards and team collaboration for successful project completion.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.34-$39.84 per hour
