Job Summary The student will assist in the assembly of meals and serve patient meals in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and aseptic conditions in assigned areas, stocking the dish room, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards.

Qualifications And Experience

- Student under the age of 18 and currently at least 15 years of age.
- Food Handler Training Certificate is preferred.
- Knowledge of Best Practices for Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written English instructions.
- Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and manage stressful work environments.




- Demonstrated ability to work independently and willingness to be versatile to meet department needs.
- Demonstrated commitment to, and understanding of the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Hours of Work: In order to provide the necessary patient care, our operations run 24/7.



There is the expectation that you are available to work weekdays, weekends and all shifts (days, nights, 12 hours).

This is a replacement position. Applications will be considered until position is filled.
