School of Modern Dance is searching for experienced Dance Teachers specializing in one or more of the following styles to help on a casual basis as Substitute teachers: Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz Funk, Musical Theatre, Tap and more.

Qualifications

- Education/training and background in professional Dance
- Previous dance teaching experience
- Experience teaching children and/or adults
- Robust classroom management skills
- Engaging, energetic and confident teaching style
- Proven track records of reliability, professionalism, and good work ethic
- Outgoing and energetic personality

This is an on-call position, with some substitutions scheduled ahead of time, while others may become available on a same-day notice. There may be opportunities for regular weekly teaching positions in the future.

Pay: $25-35 per hour, based on teaching experience, training and qualifications.
