Ironclad Earthworks is currently accepting resumes for the position of surveyor. The candidate must have a class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. 2 years experience in civil survey is considered an asset. The ideal candidate would have experience with the following:

Arrive at work on time and prepared for the task and shift assigned by the supervisor

Locate primary and secondary survey evidence and control

Interpret and extrapolate surveying data from construction and design drawings

Distribute survey reports and manage survey data files

Communicate with surveyors and contractors to complete surveying tasks

Set-up and operation of conventional survey and GPS equipment

Set-up GPS and machine controls systems on-site

Prepare accurate field notes, when required

Collect,



manage and output data using conventional survey methods

Maintain and calibrate survey equipment

Taking measurements using a variety of equipment

Working alongside heavy equipment checking grade to ensure we meet specifications

Carry and utilize a variety of tools and equipment including shovels, pry bars, dig bars, jackhammers and others up to 23kg or 50lbs

Take care of survey equipment.

The position includes competitive wages, paid OT and opportunities for advancement.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
