Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
- Select fresh ingredients, handle food with care, and ensure proper storage to uphold quality standards.
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service times, supporting overall kitchen operations.
- Serve guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent food service experience.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency across all dishes.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive, energetic work environment focused on quality and efficiency.





Requirements

- Proven 5 years experience in food preparation, specifically in sushi or Japanese cuisine, with a strong background in serving or food handling.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to sushi, sashimi, and other related dishes.
- Must have 5 years experience in sushi restaurant in Canada
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy ingredients, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional food service experiences.
