TERREOAK Landscaping and snow is a Calgary based company providing landscaping, hardscaping and snow removal to residential and commercial clients. We're looking to grow our snow removal team for the upcoming season and are hiring 1-2 reliable, tech-savvy drivers.
What you'll do:
- Ensure all assigned client properties are cleared within a reasonable time during snow events
- Oversee your team's performance and make sure jobs are completed on schedule
- Communicate with clients to make sure they're taken care of.
- Use our dispatch/routing softwares to manage your route efficiently
- Work independently and make good calls under pressure and during busy storm periods
What we're looking for:
- Valid and clean drivers license
- Comfortable with technology, You'll be using apps for routing, timesheets and communication
- Strong communication skills, both with customers and your team
- Solid management skills,
comfortable keeping people on task and holding them accountable
- Good at managing time constraints and hitting deadlines during snow events
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Full availability during snow events, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- A team-lead mentality, you'll be responsible for making sure your crew delivers
- Construction or landscaping experience is a plus, strong performers may have the opportunity to move into landscaping work
