Small, progressive, well established Geomatics/Civil Engineering Services Firm located in Lethbridge, Alberta looking for Construction Survey Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Take Direction from Survey Crew Chief for Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
· Be responsible for care and maintenance of truck and equipment
· Be responsible for import/export of daily data (stakeout and observed data)
· Keep transparent, complete and accurate field notes
· Perform and assist with various survey tasks, including but not limited to: Site Surveys/Preliminary Surveys, Volume Surveys, Building, Road and Deep Utility Layout and Earthworks Surveys
Job Skill Requirements:
· First year student in Diploma Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting considered an asset
· Previous construction industry experience considered an asset
· Familiarity with Autodesk Products, such as AutoCad Civil 3D, AutoCad Map and Autocad considered an asset.
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Valid Class 5 Drivers License (Drivers Abstract may be required)
· Attentive to Detail
· Be a Team Player, with an enthusiastic attitude
· Be physically fit
