We are a unionized sheet metal shop looking for a skilled and dependable TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong TIG welding skills, particularly with light-gauge sheet metal and other light materials, and takes pride in producing clean, precise, high-quality work.

This position is more than just welding. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our sheet metal trade and will be required to enroll in the union and pursue the necessary training and licensing to become a qualified sheet metal worker.

Responsibilities




- TIG weld light-gauge sheet metal and other light materials
- Read and work from drawings, measurements and specifications
- Prepare, fit and assemble sheet metal components
- Perform general sheet metal fabrication and shop duties
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company and workplace safety procedures
- Develop the skills and knowledge required to become a licensed sheet metal worker
