Duties

- Safely operate tow trucks and roll-off containers to retrieve, transport, and deliver vehicles or waste materials across various locations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and equipment before and after each shift to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
- Assist customers with vehicle recovery, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and professionalism.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with trucks or containers, performing basic repairs or notifying maintenance as needed.
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when required to load or unload materials efficiently.




- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during transit to prevent accidents or damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, deliveries, inspections, and incidents for record-keeping purposes.

Experience

- Must have a valid tow truck license with a minimum of a DZ
- Prior experience operating tow trucks and roll-off containers is required.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance or repair is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics helps in troubleshooting minor truck issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently in a physically demanding setting while maintaining attention to safety and detail.
