Role Description The Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant role at Mary Kay Canada is a part-time or full-time, according to your availability, remote position focused on providing personalized beauty and skin care advice to customers. Day-to-day tasks include sharing product information, demonstrating application techniques, and recommending skin care and cosmetic routines tailored to individual needs.
Consultants manage their own customer base, handle orders, track inventory, and organize virtual or in-person product consultations and parties where permitted. The role also involves following up with customers, providing ongoing service and support,



and using digital tools and social media to promote products and grow the business.

Independent Beauty Consultants are responsible for setting sales goals, monitoring performance, and continuously learning about new products and beauty trends.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in skin care and cosmetology, with the ability to provide informed, personalized beauty recommendations.
- Product knowledge related to cosmetics and skin care, including understanding ingredients, benefits, and proper usage.
- Customer service skills to build relationships, respond to inquiries, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Retail sales skills, including consultative selling, upselling, and closing sales in person and through digital channels.
- Comfort using online platforms, social media, and virtual tools to communicate with customers and promote products.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage independent, work from home with minimal supervision.
