Turn Client Insight into Growth—and Help Shape the Future of Patient Engagement
VP, Client Partner, Strategy & Growth (Commercial)
Full-time | Exempt | Primarily virtual | Up to 20% travel
Reports to: SVP, Strategic Partnerships
At Reverba , we believe the strongest client partnerships are built by understanding not only what a client asks for, but what they are ultimately trying to solve.
We are seeking a VP, Client Partner, Strategy & Growth to identify untapped opportunities within our existing client relationships and transform those opportunities into meaningful solutions, stronger partnerships, and incremental revenue.
This is not a traditional account-management position focused primarily on maintaining or retaining business. It is a highly strategic, client-facing growth role for a leader who can uncover whitespace, develop a compelling point of view, and convert insight into action.
You will work across Reverba’s client portfolios, partnering with Client Partners, Growth, Strategy, Product, Business Development, and executive leadership to bring forward strategic recommendations, innovative patient engagement programs, industry insights, and business-planning support. You will also serve as a senior-level advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex brand, marketplace, organizational, and patient-engagement challenges.
What You’ll Do In this role, you will:
- Drive organic growth within existing client accounts by identifying whitespace, uncovering emerging needs, and translating opportunities into strategic recommendations, proposals, and incremental revenue.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, brands, organizational structure, priorities, stakeholders, and decision-making dynamics.
- Engage senior client leaders to diagnose complex business challenges, clarify what they are trying to achieve, and recommend solutions that deliver meaningful value.
- Create and present persuasive strategic narratives, points of view, business cases, proposals, and growth plans for VP- and SVP-level audiences.
- Partner with Client Partners and the Strategy & Growth team to develop annual client strategies that support portfolio and organizational growth goals.
- Contribute to brand-planning conversations and help clients understand how patient engagement can advance their medical, marketing, commercial, and organizational objectives.
- Navigate ambiguity and synthesize client, brand, marketplace, competitive, and industry insights into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor the patient engagement landscape, including emerging client needs, brand trends, competitive pressures, relationship health, and the quality of program delivery.
- Bring innovative thinking and creative problem-solving to complex client challenges rather than simply executing against an existing brief.
- Participate in client meetings and strategic planning sessions to strengthen relationships, identify new opportunities, and coach internal team members.
- Partner with Business Development, Product, and other internal stakeholders to shape and present complex capabilities and solutions.
- Identify and address client-side organizational or business roadblocks that could affect service delivery or partnership growth.
- Maintain accurate opportunity and pipeline information in the company’s CRM and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Champion Reverba’s culture and values while contributing to company priorities related to quality, growth, and culture .
- Meet or exceed organizational organic-growth goals.
What You’ll Bring The strongest candidates will offer:
- Demonstrated organic-growth and strategic-sales success within existing client accounts. You have a track record of identifying whitespace, developing strategic recommendations, and converting opportunities into incremental revenue—not simply managing or retaining accounts.
- Deep pharma, biotech, healthcare, or healthcare-agency experience. You understand healthcare brands, client organizations, industry dynamics, and how medical, patient engagement, marketing, and commercial stakeholders intersect.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to move beyond the immediate brief to understand the underlying business challenge.
- The curiosity to ask thoughtful questions, seek context, test assumptions, and uncover what a client truly needs.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and the ability to synthesize complex marketplace, client, brand, and organizational dynamics.
- Executive-level presence and the confidence to lead strategic conversations with senior client stakeholders.
- Exceptional strategic storytelling and presentation skills, including the ability to develop a clear point of view and persuasively communicate a recommended solution.
- The intellectual curiosity, business judgment, and interpersonal effectiveness required to become a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
- Robust listening, facilitation, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
- A collaborative leadership approach and the ability to influence across functions and levels without relying solely on formal authority.
- An understanding of account management, forecasting, budgeting, pipeline development, and CRM discipline.
- The ability to learn and communicate technology concepts, particularly those related to communications and web-based tools.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, including the judgment to delegate, escalate, or ask for support when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing,
or a related field.
- At least five years of leadership or sales experience with demonstrated growth results.
- At least eight years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience managing or influencing multiple strategic client relationships at senior levels.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
