The VP Finance is responsible for managing EMP's budget, tracking expenses, processing reimbursements, and reporting financial status throughout the year.

Time Commitment5–7 hours per week during regular program periods; 6–8 hours per week during event weeks with reimbursement processing.
Term of EmploymentAugust 2026 – April 2027
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the annual budget submission and revisions
- Track actual vs. budgeted expenses throughout the year
- Process AMS reimbursements for the team
- Coordinate vendor payments
- Report financial status at exec meetings
- Support financial planning across events and initiatives
Qualifications
- Solid Excel and spreadsheet skills
- High attention to detail and reliability
- Comfort with budgeting, tracking, and reconciliation
- Interest in finance, accounting, or operations
- Ability to work with financial documentation and processes
