Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our Distribution team. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and putting away incoming inventory. The Order Picker plays an important role in ensuring order accuracy, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting the efficient flow of goods through the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Accurately pick orders from designated locations based on pick lists and customer requirements.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, including wrapping skids and ensuring secure and accurate packaging.
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive incoming shipments and put away inventory in designated storage locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform light cleaning and general warehouse upkeep as required.
- Complete associated paperwork and maintain accurate records as required.




- Support overall distribution operations through teamwork and transparent communication.

Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Training and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience (1–3 years) is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting.
- Forklift experience is required; ability to obtain forklift certification is mandatory.

Working Conditions and Requirements

- Based at our distribution facility located at 1725 Sargent Avenue.
- Standard shift is 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with flexibility required based on business needs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and be active for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with noise and dust.
- CSA-approved (green patch) safety footwear is required.
- Clear criminal record check required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
