Job Summary

We are a long time family owned business seeking dedicated and hardworking part-time Men to join our team as Yard Works. The ideal candidate requires physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects rapidity all day, able to work well with others, have good customer service and be able to understand and complete a variety of laborious tasks. (No prior knowledge of yard work required)

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials.
- Maintain an organized yard by managing inventory and ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the building of lifts and securing loads for transport.
- Conduct regular inspections of yard equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse distribution processes.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills





- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery safely.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift (must be able to lift 80lbs repeatedly without assistance).
- Proficient in order picking techniques to ensure accuracy in fulfilling orders.
- Capable of building pallets effectively for safe transportation of goods.
