We are seeking a warm, reliable, and nurturing part time nanny to care for our two children after school. We are looking for someone who can provide a safe, stimulating environment and become a valued part of our family team. Our 7-year-old daughter has Down syndrome. She is wonderful and loves to play, but she often arrives home tired and may fall asleep on the bus ride. Our 9-year-old son is neurotypical and highly independent; he primarily just needs general adult oversight while you focus your attention on his younger sister. Key Responsibilities
- Meet our 7-year-old at the school bus and assist her in getting off the bus safely (you may need to help wake her or physically support her if she is asleep).
- Prepare and provide a healthy after-school snack.
- Entertain, play, and engage in enriching activities with our daughter until we finish work.
- Provide general, hands-off supervision for our 9-year-old son.
