Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accountant, the Corporate Accountant & Financial Systems will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting of SMEDCO, while also supporting CCDF's accounting, funding programs and financial systems.
This position will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial information, coordinating reporting requirements, supporting the annual SMEDCO audit and ensuring the integrity of financial and lending system data.
The successful candidate will work independently on assigned responsibilities while receiving direction and oversight from the Senior Corporate Accountant.
What You Will Do
Manage the day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions for SMEDCO.
Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, supporting schedules and variance information.
Prepare journal entries, accruals and year-end working papers.
