Liability Claims Analsyt page is loaded## Liability Claims Analsytlocations:Vancouvertime type:Full timeposted on:Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id:R-101957**Job Description:**As **Liability Claims Analyst** at Onni, you will support the management of liability claims across Onni Group's real estate portfolio and construction operations in Canada and the U.S. Working closely with the internal claims and legal teams, you will investigate, evaluate, and track claims from intake through resolution — ensuring timely handling, accurate documentation, and coordination with third-party adjusters and brokers.**Perks and Perks:*** Competitive pay and a Comprehensive Benefits Package with multiple options to choose from* Other benefits include Health Saving Account, Flexible Saving Account, Employee Assistance Program* Annual Education Allowance* Generous Referral Program* Fun & collaborative company culture with lots of team building events* Local discounts to restaurants and businesses* Friends and Family rates at our hospitality brands**What You'll Do:*** Investigate and evaluate liability claims across Onni's residential, commercial, mixed-use, and construction assets, including evidence gathering.* Analyze coverage applicability under relevant insurance programs (CGL, OCIP/CCIP, WRAP, project-specific policies) and prepare detailed claim summaries and exposure assessments.* Coordinate with third-party adjusters, brokers, and defense counsel to ensure timely investigation, reporting, and resolution of claims.* Maintain the centralized claims tracking system with accurate, up-to-date file documentation, reserves, and status reporting.* Support internal legal teams in the U.S. and Canada with litigation hold notices, discovery support, and preparation of settlement recommendations.* Monitor claim diaries,



deadlines, and statute of limitations across multiple jurisdictions to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.* Identify loss trends by property type, geography, and claim category and contribute to risk mitigation recommendations for operations and development teams.**What You Bring:*** Degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.* 2–5 years of experience in liability claims handling, investigation, or analysis — in-house, with a carrier, or at a TPA.* Knowledge of general liability, property damage, and construction-related claims in commercial real estate or development.* Familiarity with Canadian and U.S. insurance markets and jurisdictional claims requirements.* Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills with attention to detail.* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and claims management systems.* Professional designations such as CIP, AIC, or progress toward CPCU or ARM are an asset.* Work with a leading real estate developer with a dynamic and growing portfolio.* Contribute to high-impact construction and property management projects across North America.* Join a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and development.**Salary Range:**$65,000 - 85,000**About The Company:**For over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
