Skyline Recruitment is working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Vancouver office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced building services qualified looking to take a lead role in the delivery of complex institutional, commercial, healthcare, and public infrastructure projects across British Columbia and beyond.The successful candidate will join a collaborative and highly respected engineering team known for delivering sustainable and technically challenging building projects across Canada.Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical design and project delivery across multiple building projects and sectorsPrepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documentationCoordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teamsSupport project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource managementMentor and support junior engineers and designersParticipate in client meetings, proposal preparation, and business development activitiesEnsure projects comply with applicable building codes, standards, and quality management proceduresSupport construction administration activities including site reviews, change notices,
and contractor coordinationContribute to process improvements and technical excellence within the engineering teamQualifications & ExperienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineP.Eng. designation in British Columbia, or eligibility to obtain8+ years of experience in mechanical building services consultingStrong background delivering institutional, commercial, healthcare, or public sector projectsThorough understanding of applicable building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standardsProven experience working within multidisciplinary consulting environmentsStrong communication, technical writing, and client management skillsExperience with sustainable building design and LEED projects considered an assetAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environmentWhat’s OfferedCompetitive compensation package ranging from $110,000–$140,000Hybrid work flexibility and flexible working hoursComprehensive health and retirement benefitsEmployee share ownership opportunitiesPaid professional development and continuing education supportCollaborative and employee-focused workplace cultureOpportunity to work on landmark and community-impact projects across Canada#J-18808-Ljbffr
